Well, here she is - My 1947 Cessna 140. I don't know if she'll ever fly again. It's a LONG story, but my Dad was a student pilot - was flying her on a checkout ride, and he ... well ... he hit the brakes too hard and she flipped over! The damage wasn't that bad, but in the process of getting her repaired, a few mechanics ripped me off and I'm left with a lot of money gone and no prospects of flying her any time soon.
Update: Lucien Taix of AirTaix Aviation in New Orleans stole this airplane - from me! - and I eventually found it. Long story short, it's gone from my life, but I did make a deal to be able to fly her once she's airworthy once more.
