Little Wing

A flower with a faerie and a dragonfly lit on the stalk, a poem in the background, interspersed in the gaps of the drawing.

Little Wing began as a drawing. A poem was written for it which put into the background. It is in pencil, on 8.5X11 loose-leaf, in poitrait orientation. It dates somewhere between 1980 and '84 - probably late '82.

Love floats on soft wings
and is made of little things
nothing matches loves sweet nectar,
nothing could even try
the only thing love can't do,
is shrivle up and die.
So I drink of this cup of nectar,
and float on gosimer wings
and my mind well, it dwells on little things
fly on...
little wing
